Pinging the Server

Problem:  I can log on, but I cannot pull up the BSC-Net Homepage.

Solution:

1. Go to the desktop.
2. Click on the start button.
3. Go to Programs. 
4. Go to Command Prompt (DOS Prompt).
   
   
   
5. At the Prompt, type in "ping www.bscn.com" (without the quotation marks).
   
6. Hit Enter.
   
   If the response is "Bad Command", the TCP/IP protocol is corrupt.  It must be removed and re-installed.  Go here for instructions.
   
   If the response gives ping times, then there is no problem.  Go back, restart your computer, and try to log on again.
